Allison and Harry

So in my previous post, I spoke about my beautiful cousin getting married on Magnetic Island off the North Queensland coast, and my silently freaking out that I hadn't shot a wedding for a long time. I must tell you, Maggie Island is one of the most beautiful places to run away to if you are planning a winter wedding! The people are welcoming, little holiday traffic in August (so very quiet) and just a-maaaaz-ing!

So let me tell you about the bride and groom... yes, the bride is my cousin, but growing up we had little to do with each other, only seeing each other every couple of years. With the joys of our evolving world, I managed to re-connect with her via Facebook, and when I was sent to Charters Towers for a photoshoot, I caught up with her and her little sister. Yay for Facebook!!

Then (as I explained in my previous post) she asked me to be her photographer. This is a huge honour! There is a lot of trust and responsibility given to this task, and it's a task that shouldn't be considered lightly!

Anyways, I should probably stop babbling and get on with showing you some of the pics I took at the wedding of Allison and the Amazing Harry (her words, not mine ;-))
